Skin softening soap

You will be amazed at how emollient homemade soap is compared to most commercial soaps, which have been stripped of their glycerin and as a result can be drying for the skin. Vermont Soapwork's master soap-makers make soap the old fashioned way, leaving the skin softening glycerin in, and leaving the often irritating chemical and detergent bases out. Fine ingredients are blended in small batches and poured into wooden block molds. When ready, the soap is wire cut into bars, put on oak drying frames and aged in their special curing room for nearly a month.
